27 Nov ROTC/Angel Flight Reunion
We would like to thank all who attended the 2018 ROTC Reunion. It was a wonderful event full of fellowship, reminiscing, and fun.
The ROTC/Angel Flight Reunion began with a reception in the Rayburn Student Center, followed by dinner. Members of the Princeton High School ROTC presented the Colors, SGA Senator, Bryant Jackson led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Master of Music Education student, Heather White sang the National Anthem.
Distinguished Alumnus, Captain Louis Freeman, was featured as the keynote speaker for the evening. Captain Freeman captivated his fellow ROTC members as he spoke on his career in the United States Air Force, his 37 years with Southwest Airlines and his life experiences along the way.
The following morning, ROTC members and their spouses gathered at the Alumni Center for brunch and an open mic session. Brunch was followed by a student led campus tour, tailgate and the TAMUC vs. Angelo State football game, during which, ROTC alumni were invited down to the field to be recognized.
The ROTC Reunion is held every two years. If you would like information about this program, please contact Rachel Mitchell at rachel.mitchell@tamuc.edu or 903.468.3085.
